David Kemp was the long-term in-house mechanic for the Warners Bay BP Service Station. When the service station changed ownership, David, and his wife Kay, decided it was time to open their own mechanical workshop. And so DK Mechanical Repairs was created.
In 1998, we opened our workshop doors to the Warners Bay community. Through hard work and dedication to keeping service and advice honest and prices affordable, our business has grown to become one of the most trusted in the local area.
These days, Dave and Kay are less involved in the day-to-day running of the business—entrusting their son and daughter, Carl and Leonie, to continue their legacy. They have been involved in the business for more than a decade, placing importance in the same honest values.
Carl is a fully qualified second-generation mechanic and is the proud workshop manger, whilst Leonie is front of house and office Manager. Together they ensure the Warners Bay community has a place to go for friendly, honest and cost-effective mechanical work.
Our aim is to be the workshop where everyone, from the performance car enthusiast to the less mechanical minded, can feel comfortable and welcome. Come in and see our team today.
As a family operation, it’s important to us that our customers are happy. We keep our prices fair, service honest and speak in plain English, without the industry jargon. See what our customers have to say about our reliable services. Call or book online today to arrange your own car service, maintenance or repairs.
